THE HUNT....Where to find the best Art

The artwork we showcase in our homes is highly personal. It not only represents our identity. It creates another dimension to a space creating a unique individual home full of interest. Whilst also showing your personality, the adventures you've possibly been on, your dreams and imagination. A home is always uplifted when you have art dotted around. Even if you have just one really special piece, it can make you feel such joy and brighten your day every time you look at it.


It could be paintings, illustrations, photographs, retro prints, sculptures and anything else that speaks to your heart and is visually pleasing. In the long term the investment is worth it. It can be handed down to our loved ones and be kept in families keeping a piece of your identity and story alive for generations. Whilst art is often incredibly meaningful to the individual it be be fun and playful and be a great talking point when guest visit too!


A wonderful way to find art is to go exploring at art fairs across the UK. Some of which feature emerging artists with hundreds of original works. If you visit twice: first to shortlist captivating pieces, then return with your chosen list and speak with sellers about the piece and be brave - pluck up the courage to negotiate on the price! Another tip is to search online for 'degree show' where young emerging new talent showcase their work at various Universities across the U.K which you can visit!
